Be a Bat Hero - help raise funds for Bats without Borders

Fancy taking part in a Tough Mudder or how about organising a Halloween Party? Fundraising for Bats without Borders is a great way to support a charity dedicated to conserving bats in southern Africa. With your help we can increase our work to conserve bats and strengthen bat conservation capacity across southern Africa.

Whatever challenge or activity you want to take on, we’ll be here to support you all the way with advice, promotion and encouragement.

We value any size of donation and the battier the fundraising idea, the better! So if you want to go for a run dressed as a bat, bake bat winged cakes or you want to host a bat-inspired cocktail or Halloween party, every single cent or penny will go to a great cause.

NEW for 2023!

Why Fundraise for Bats without Borders
Bats are an incredibly important, and much misunderstood, group of mammals that are vulnerable to human impacts. They are a critical species in the ecosystems in which they live - controlling insect pests, pollinating plants and dispersing seeds.

Sadly, Africa is considered a bat conservation void and bats are largely unprotected outside of protected areas. Habitat loss, land degradation and persecution are major threats to bat populations.

Every single cent and penny raised makes a difference to bats... we’re on the ground conserving, engaging and inspiring people across southern Africa.
Meet our amazing volunteer Anne Youngman who is running an ultramarathon on the 24 - 25 of June 2023 to raise funds for Bats without Borders' conservation work!
