Gabriela Prchalova
Gabriela has recently joined the Bats without Borders volunteer research team. She comes from Slovakia where she did a Masters in Ecology. She then studied for a Masters in Animal Behaviour in Manchester and travelled to Tanzania for fieldwork and completed a research project on the behaviour of Plains Zebra in Kenya. This is when she fell in love with Africa. She is particularly interested in social interactions of animals.
She has taken in quite a variety of rescued animals over the years and currently works at an animal rescue. She hopes to do more work in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation as well as more research work. In her spare time she loves horse riding and walking in wild spaces and also has a passion for wildlife photography.
