Intern - Human-bat interactions team
Joshua ChilesheJoshua was born and grew up in Zambia and is the last born in the family of 10 children. After finishing high school, Joshua started working to raise funds to further his education and with government aid support was accepted at the Copperbelt University to study bachelor's degree in wildlife management in 2016. He continued to work throughout his undergraduate degree, and was delighted to graduate in June 2021. However, he is currently a member of Bats Without Boarders Organization where his knowledge can be applied in helping public awareness concerning bats persecution in reference to outbreaks of covid-19.
Joshua is an intern working within the Bats without Borders human-bat interactions team. The team is working to better understand bat persecution and engage with communities to discuss misunderstandings about bats and finding mutual benefits for people and wildlife. |
