PhD Student - University of Arkansas
Reilly JacksonI am a PhD student at the University of Arkansas in the United States! I study human-bat interactions and relationships in Kenya and use this information to help mitigate conflicts that have negative impacts on both human health and bat welfare.
I have been working with bats since 2013, when I initially began working on projects about bat diseases here in the US. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to work with many bat researchers across the world and have had the privilege to study bats on multiple continents. I am extremely keen to do what I can to help foster appreciation for bats and help other young researchers develop the skills they need to conserve wildlife, especially bats, around the world. |
