Bats and other wildlife need a voice! From conservation to advocacy, we need your help!
Bats without Borders is committed to engaging with key stakeholders (e.g. community conservancies, general public, land managers, wildlife organisations, national park staff, conservation NGOs, local government organisation) to promote a positive image of bats and over time to advocate for effective practical conservation measures for their protection based on sound scientific advice. We are running bat group training to increase capacity and support a network of new bat groups across southern Africa! We are also going to be running environmental education to support more conservation action (and advocacy). To find out more about our training opportunities, please visit our capacity strengthening page.
Map that bat roost!
One of our main priorities is to engage with land managers to promote bats and to map significant bat roosts. If you know of a cave, sink hole, building or abandoned mine with bats please let us know.
More information on other ways to get involved coming soon!
