Alexandra Howard

Alexandra is a PhD candidate in the Afromontane Research Unit at the University of the Free State, under the supervision of Professor Peter Taylor, Dr Sina Weier, Prof Ara Monadjem and Professor Emma Teeling (UCD) focusing on the ecosystem services of bats in deciduous fruit farms of the eastern Free State Province in South Africa. After graduating with a Masters degree in Zoology from the University of Pretoria, Alexandra worked as a research manager and scientific officer in the NGO industry with a focus on endangered species including vultures, rhinoceros and pangolins.
