Lesson 6 - Fantastic flyers
Welcome to Lesson 6! We have a fantastic lesson, learning about why bats are unique and awesome. We have a special treat for you with a video showing you bats flying in slow motion so you can see how they fly. One of our lovely volunteers (Anne Youngman) is featured in this video too counting the bats as they are coming out of their roost. Anne has a bat detector so you will briefly hear the bats echolocating before the video switches to slow motion. So not only do you get to see some awesome bats flying but you get a glimpse into the work of a bat ecologist too!
