Stuart Fahy

Stuart is originally from Leeds in the UK and has worked in many roles over the years. He shares the stories of his travels to inform people of the issues affecting animal welfare around the world through his website and is always on the lookout for opportunities to combine his main interests of travel and animals, whilst developing creative content.

In 2010 he took his first solo trip abroad and since then has visited countries all over the world. During a trip to southern Africa in 2018, he came across an opportunity to volunteer at a big cat sanctuary and spent two weeks helping out around the sanctuary and learning about the problems facing lions and other animals around the region. That experience led him to other seek volunteer opportunities around the world, allowing him to combine the love of travelling with a passion for taking care of animals. The most recent was a 3-month stint volunteering at a primate sanctuary in Madrid.

His passion for travel led Stuart to Spain, to experience living in another country, and he has been living here for most of the past 8 years!​
