Dr Leigh Richards

Leigh Richards is the Curator of Mammals at the Durban Natural Science Museum. Leigh’s department is responsible for collecting, receiving, identifying, and curating small mammals from across Africa. She has a PhD in bat taxonomy and is currently involved in small mammal surveys of the eastern regions of South Africa. Leigh also trains bat enthusiasts and professionals in field techniques.
